Rural Community Engagement Coordinator

Christie is passionate about knowledge building and sharing to help ensure environmental stewardship and prosperity.  Offering experience as a researcher, teacher, facilitator and presenter in both professional and volunteer roles, Christie has contributed to renewable energy integration and economic development throughout Nova Scotia, across Canada and in developing economies on three continents.  Christie believes that emission reduction is crucial, and that collaboration inclusive of all strata, sectors, between and within communities, is essential to ensuring we act on our best opportunities.

Christie holds a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University, a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a Diploma in Craft and Design from Sheridan College.
