Laura Leighton

Laura is a student at Dalhousie University. She has recently completed her 3rd year of Environmental Engineering and is also a player and VP Finance of the Dalhousie Women’s Field Hockey Team. Joining the Net Zero Atlantic team as her first co-op experience, she is incredibly excited to contribute to a variety of projects leading Nova Scotia towards a net-zero future.

Through past employment and education, Laura has experience conducting green audits and LEED certifications on both commercial and school buildings. She is eager to apply these previous experiences towards projects at Net Zero Atlantic while learning from the diverse and talented team. With a passion for Green Building infrastructure and renewable energy, she looks forward to gaining valuable knowledge for the future.
