Olivia Hivon

Olivia is a passionate environmental advocate with experience in environmental education, community engagement, and communications. Through various roles, she has developed and delivered educational programs in French and English in Montreal, the Seychelles, and Halifax, fostering awareness and action on environmental issues. With a focus on community-driven solutions, Olivia is passionate about supporting a just energy transition in Nova Scotia.

As Net Zero Atlantic's Engagement Coordinator, Olivia will focus on advancing public education, engagement, and capacity building around Nova Scotia’s transition to a carbon-neutral energy system. In this role, she will support outreach initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop resources to help Nova Scotians better understand and prepare for the energy transition.

Olivia holds a BA in Environment and Development from McGill University. She is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
