Research Coordinator - Wind
Sasha joins the Net Zero Atlantic team as one of our winter co-op students. Originally from Saskatoon, she is currently a 3rd year Environmental Science and Biology student at Dalhousie University. As part of her semester's work, she will be focusing on the Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREPs). Sasha will aid the capacity building phase of this program, focusing on helping rural and Indigenous communities understand the potential for offshore wind development in Nova Scotia. She has previously worked in the environmental consulting sector for McCallum Environmental Ltd. in Bedford, N.S., as a Junior Environmental Scientist. Sasha is excited to expand her environmental science background through gaining knowledge of renewable energy’s social impacts.
