Introducing ECT PEI: Clean Technology Challenge

Net Zero Atlantic is extending the Emerging Concepts and Technologies (ECT) program into Prince Edward Island through the ECT-PEI Clean Technology Challenge.

This initiative will provide up to four $100,000 grants to support research and innovation in emerging clean technologies. The program aims to identify and develop promising technologies, approaches, and practices to drive economic development for the province.

This webinar will outline the program’s research priorities, eligibility requirements, application process, and project timelines.

About the presenters 

Tim Bachiu joined Net Zero Atlantic in 2023 as the Director of Research: Earth Systems and Innovation. He has overseen the creation and execution of Net Zero Atlantic's ECT program and has played a pivotal role in expanding the program into New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. As a member of the ECT Research Management Committee, Tim will provide a comprehensive overview of the ECT PEI: Clean Technology Challenge and offer meaningful insights into the program’s background and strategic objectives to better inform potential applicants.

Molly Noseworthy is a Project Manager with Net Zero Atlantic's ECT program. She oversees the day-to-day execution of the program in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Molly will guide potential applicants through the pre-call and open call process, including how to prepare and apply for the program’s grant opportunities.
