Working with Indigenous Communities to achieve Net Zero

230228 Webinar Todd Evans

Todd Evans, National Lead, Indigenous Exporters, Export Development Canada

As governments and corporations in Canada and around the world adopt policies and implement targets to support the move to a net zero economy, many may not fully appreciate the essential role that Indigenous communities have in helping achieve these goals.  Meaningful progress requires engagement and partnerships with Indigenous communities, especially with a growing number of clean energy projects intersecting traditional Indigenous territories.  Encompassing the perspective and participation of Indigenous partners supports a successful transition towards net zero.

Join us on February 28 for a discussion with Todd Evans, National Lead for Indigenous Exporters at Export Development Canada, for an in-depth exploration of these issues.  The discussion will also provide guidance on working with Indigenous communities and partners, and the value of building relationships with Indigenous companies.
