Shannon Wood

Shannon is a science communicator and project manager with experience in environmental management consulting and academic research. She has collaborated with diverse teams on numerous interdisciplinary projects throughout Canada and internationally, drawing on a rich background in marine management and sustainability. As a Project Manager for Net Zero Atlantic, Shannon will be largely focused on building local capacity for the sustainable and inclusive development of Nova Scotia’s offshore wind resource.

Shannon holds a Masters of Marine Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Sustainability from Dalhousie University. She is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
