Behaviour change is an integral component of any successful climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. As such, behavioural science can provide a valuable tool in the efforts to increase climate change mitigation and adaptation activities. It can help us to understand the psychological barriers to climate change action. This session will provide an introduction to behavioural science and its potential applications to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
