Offshore Wind Stakeholder Engagement Plan for Nova Scotia

Early stakeholder engagement is an important step in the development of an offshore wind industry in Atlantic Canada. This report reviews and summarizes best practices and lessons learned from offshore wind stakeholder engagement in the US Northeast market. In addition, the report identifies and analyzes Nova Scotian stakeholders and proposes an example engagement plan. This report can be used as a tool during the early stages of assessing offshore wind potential for Nova Scotia.

This report has been produced in November 2020 and therefore doesn’t contain reference to recently announced activities (e.g., Regional Assessment, NS capacity target, etc.)
