Hydrogen is an energy vector that has the potential to play an important role in Atlantic Canada’s future energy system. While this role was recognized in two studies (LINK), Atlantic Canada does not have a hydrogen strategy. A strategy would act as a critical framework that will guide future development and investments. This report is a first step in the creation of a strategy and (1) reviews established hydrogen strategy creation methods, (2) includes a detailed scope of work and a potential outline of an Atlantic Canadian hydrogen strategy, and (3) develops a stakeholder engagement framework document.
