Sarah Balloch

Sarah has experience in community engagement in energy efficiency, and low carbon transportation across urban and rural Nova Scotia.  Through working in the non-profit and private sector she’s developed training and education programs, created teams of interdisciplinary experts reaching the public on a variety of sustainability topics.

As Net Zero Atlantic's Engagement Manager, Sarah will focus on advancing public education, engagement, and capacity building around Nova Scotia’s transition to a carbon-neutral energy system. In this role, she will support outreach initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop resources to help Nova Scotians better understand and prepare for the energy transition.

Sarah holds a BA in Environmental Studies from MUN, and a MA in Environmental Education and Communication.
