Energy System Modeller
Mohammed Alkatheri has a vast background in energy system modelling and algorithm development. The focus of his PhD research was the application and integration of big-data tools (such as artificial intelligence and machine learning) to the optimization of energy systems and chemical processes.
Mohammed will use his experience in his role of Energy System Modeller to continue making the ACES model a credible, user-friendly tool Atlantic Canadians can use to answer their "what if" scenarios pertaining to the long-term development of our energy system.
Mohammed holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a BSc in Chemical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University, and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Khalifa University.
