Whether a green buildings contractor, clean energy educator, or climate researcher, we all talk about climate change. How do we most effectively communicate about climate change in a way that doesn't overwhelm but instead builds cautious hope on solutions?

Sean is a sustainability consultant with over 30 years of experience in program development and management, inclusive leadership, communications, and adult education. Currently a strategic consultant, he has worked for organizations including Clean Foundation (first as Manager of Communications and then as Director of Energy programs), Cuso International, the Lester Pearson Institute for International Development, and the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia.

Additionally, Sean is the co-founder of the non-profit Climate Story Network, which is dedicated to providing professionally written, no-cost stories about climate solutions to community media in Atlantic Canada. He is an award-winning writer published in many magazines and newspapers in Canada, and was the editor of The Sustainable Times magazine.
